The establishment of multi-ethnic schools in the inland big cities where the ethnic minority population is scattered is conducive to the improvement of the ethnic minority education level and the promotion of the harmonious coexistence of all ethnic groups.Multi-ethnic school provides an opportunity for the exchange of different ethnic cultures.As a multi-ethnic school,how to better perform its due duties of inheriting ethnic culture,cultivating students’ multicultural qualities and promoting ethnic unity,requires the participation of educational theorists and practitioners to make suggestions for the future development of the school.School culture is the concentrated expression of "soul" of the school,which exerts a subtle influence on the development of the school and the growth of individuals.The national policy text also clearly stipulates that the school should create a positive culture.Therefore,the cultural reconstruction of multi-ethnic schools can provide strength for the sustainable development of schools and promote the realization of school functions.Through literature analysis,it is found that the research on school culture construction focuses on three aspects: the value of school culture construction,the dimension of school culture construction,and the strategy of school culture construction.In the process of cultural construction,schools should clarify the subordinate relationship between "campus culture" and "school culture",from focusing on the cultural construction of a single element to paying attention to the cultural construction of multiple elements,from focusing on material decoration to paying attention to the cultural construction of meaning mining.The most important thing for the construction of school culture is to establish the core concept of the school and to design colorful educational activities based on traditional ethnic culture to highlight the core concept of the school.In the process of cultural construction,multi-ethnic schools should adhere to the multi-subjects related to the school’s interests and cultivate the multi-qualities of teachers.In this study,X primary school with the special background of "merger of seven schools",multi-ethnic schools and campus separation was selected as the research object.The development of X primary school is in the "bottleneck period" due to the complex and diverse reality background.By virtue of the opportunity of "university-school" cooperation,X primary school decides to adopt the feasible path of school culture construction.By means of deep participation,the researcher himself used interviews,document analysis and other methods,and collected and analyzed the relevant data of the cultural reconstruction process with the help of Nvivo12.The study found that the process of multi-ethnic cultural reconstruction of X primary school included the establishment of the core concept of the school and the interpretation of the core concept of the school through a series of forms.At the level of the establishment of the school’s core concept,the school first established the vision of "beauty,kindness and harmony",and then established the school culture program with the concept of "harmony".In terms of highlighting the school’s core concepts,the following are specific: First,integrating Lingnan culture into the curriculum system planning;Second,hold rich cultural activities;Thirdly,the classroom culture should be constructed with the concept of "Mutual benefit to beauty ".Fourthly,the construction of teacher culture is based on the concept of "Every form of beauty has its uniqueness";Fifth,to "Beauty and common" as the concept of the construction of student culture;Sixth,to "Beauty,goodness and harmony" as the concept of the construction of administrative culture.The cultural construction of multi-ethnic schools is a continuous undertaking.The following conclusions can be drawn from the analysis of the cultural reconstruction process of X primary school.The experience of cultural reconstruction in X primary school tells us that firstly,we should integrate various cultural elements to find the shared soul of culture.Second,listen to the voices of multiple subjects,based on the "heard" multi-subject cooperation of the cultural construction;Third,the enrichment of activities in action in the integration of multiethnic school culture.The enlightenment from the cultural reconstruction of X primary school tells us: first,the educational belief of multi-ethnic cultural understanding;Second,integrate with the culture to give all students a common spiritual home.
