| During the two sessions of the NPC and CPPCC in 2017,the hot topics “ Three thirty and four o’clockproblem” that is,primary and secondary school students leave school early and their parents leave work late,so the students’ school time is not synchronized with the parents’ off-duty time,led to a series of social problems.In the same year,the Ministry of Education issued the “guidance on doing a good job of after-school services for primary and secondary school students”,which clearly pointed out that after-school service should play a main role in primary and secondary schools.In order to meet the urgent needs of parents of primary and secondary schools for in-school after-school services in the new era,various localities have successively issued relevant policies.In July 2018,Nanning city issued the implementation opinions of the people’s government of Nanning city on doing a good job of in-school after-school services for primary and secondary school students,requiring qualified schools to carry out pilot projects and formally carry out after-school services.Therefore,after-school service has gone beyond the original space-time scope of compulsory education,and has become a new education platform,which has posed new challenges to the development of school management ability and modern school system.Up to now,Nanning city primary and secondary school after-school service pilot has been carried out for nearly two years,the researches are urgently needed to carry out on its effectiveness,existing problems,how to optimize and other issues.Based on the perspective of school multi-functions,this paper responding to the theoretical and practical needs discusses the optimization of after-school service in primary schools in Nanning City.Firstly,the paper takes eight dimensions of school after-school service as the theoretical framework,forms the corresponding research hypotheses,and develops interview tools,according to which interviews are conducted with the leaders of four primary schools in Nanning city.Secondly,by sorting out and analyzing all the interviewcontents,the research focuses on after-school service in primary schools.The questionnaire was developed from six aspects: the content and time,funds,personnel,safety and health,school equipment and site,and teaching quality of after-school service.On this basis,the representative M primary school in Nanning city is selected to carry out practical investigation,analyze the problems and reasons of after-school service in primary schools,and finally optimization strategies are put forward based on the perspective of school multi-functions.Through the investigation,we found that the main problems of after-school service in M Primary School of Nanning city are as follows: after class service time and course content are more important than form than substance,school is absent from after-school service fund management,teachers’ participation in after-school service is not active,safety and health management responsibility is not clear,after-school service space capacity is limited,after-school service teaching effect is not ideal,etc.By using spss20.0 statistical analysis,it is found that parents of different ages have significant differences in demand for after-school services,and there are significant differences in the cost recognition among parents of students participating in different organizations’ after-school services;whether parents have two employees is significantly related to the in-school after-school service venues and safety satisfaction,and the grade of students is significantly related to the mastery degree and help degree of students’ learning content Related.Based on the perspective of multiple functions of schools,the main reasons for the above problems lie in the simplification of the functions of after-school services,the lack of participation of school organizations in the realization of the main body,and the insufficient progress of school social service functions.In order to optimize the after-school service in primary school,the following constructive countermeasures are put forward: Taking the development of students as the center,expanding the function of after-school service;taking the realization of school organization as the goal,encouraging the participation of multiple subjects;taking social service as the responsibility,improving the after-school service system. |
