At the National Education Conference in 2018,Xi Jinping,General secretary of the CPC Central Committee,stressed that efforts should be made to build an education system for all-round cultivation of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,and to form a higher-level talent training system.This judgment reflects the fundamental and overall position of labor education in China’s talent training system.Labor education is of great significance to the development of individuals and society,and secondary vocational students are an important part of China’s future labor force.Therefore,it is of great significance to study secondary vocational students’ labor literacy,understand their current status,existing problems and causes,and then explore countermeasures to improve the level of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy.This study adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,observation,and interview to understand the status quo of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy from the perspective of enterprises,teachers,students and parents,analyze the existing problems and reasons,and then put forward countermeasures to improve the level of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy.On the basis of theoretical research,this study has compiled questionnaires and interview outlines for enterprises,teachers,students and parents.On the basis of theoretical research and empirical investigation,combining with the characteristics of secondary vocational students,the dimensions of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy were determined and the scale of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy was compiled.40 enterprises and 7 secondary vocational schools were selected as the research objects.Research results show that the secondary vocational student labor quality mainly exist: Secondary vocational students have higher evaluation of their own labor literacy;but enterprises and teachers think that the overall level of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy is average;Secondary vocational students’ labor values,labor quality,professional labor knowledge and skills need to be improved;Private secondary vocational schools and senior secondary vocational students generally low level of labor literacy and other problems.Through the collation,analysis and induction of the questionnaire survey and interview survey results,it is found that the main reasons for the above problems in labor quality of secondary vocational students come from the society,school,family and students themselves.Through the collation,analysis and induction of the questionnaire survey and interview survey results,it is found that the main reasons for the above problems in labor literacy of secondary vocational students come from the society,school,family and students themselves.For the problem of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy,this study puts forward the following countermeasures to improve the level of secondary vocational students’ labor literacy: first,based on the social environment,to create a good education environment;second,take school education as the leading,optimize the labor quality education model;thirdly,focusing on family education,parents should think rationally and strengthen family labor education;fourth,take individual education as the core and consciously enhance individual labor quality education.
