In the new era,secondary vocational schools undertake the responsibility of cultivating high-quality technical skill talents for the country.The effective implementation of labor education is indispensable to promote the all-round development and healthy growth and success of secondary vocational students.Whether the labor education curriculum settled up scientifically and reasonably or not is related to the cultivation of vocational spirit and labor literacy of secondary vocational students.In this paper,it takes the middle vocational department of G school as the research object to study the construction and optimization of labor education curriculum in secondary vocational schools.Firstly,it combs labor curriculum at home and abroad as well as the research results on labor education by literature research,identifies the two core concepts of labor education and labor education curriculum,and combines the characteristics of current labor education with vocational education,which can analyze the practical significance and necessity of labor education curriculum optimization in secondary vocational schools.Secondly,an empirical survey was conducted in the middle vocational department of School G through questionnaires,interviews and observations to understand the construction of labor education curriculum in secondary vocational schools.The problems of labor education and curriculum system in secondary schools were summarized through the analysis of the results of questionnaires and interviews.For example,first,students do not pay enough attention to labor education curriculum and there are misconceptions about the importance of labor education;second,the construction of labor education curriculum system in secondary schools is not perfect,which means the curriculum objectives are vague,the curriculum content settings are incomplete,the curriculum implementation guarantee mechanism is not sound and the curriculum evaluation system is not scientific.Finally,the optimization strategies are proposed for the problems of labor education curriculum construction in secondary schools.First,it can establish a correct view of labor education to improve students’ awareness of the importance of labor education.Second,it can enrich the labor educational course to build a perfect labor education curriculum system.Third,it can improve the guarantee mechanism of labor education.Fourth,it can improve the evaluation system of labor education curriculum to improve the effect of labor education curriculum implementation.
