| Due to the deepening of the new curriculum reform and quality education,the curriculum and teaching have been paid attention to by educational researchers and made considerable progress,but homework,which is one of the components of the teaching process,is often neglected.However,with the gradual deepening of new ideas,more and more people advocate changing the traditional homework and making homework close to the requirements of the new curriculum reform and quality education.Therefore,under such a big background,the study of homework is particularly important.Based on this,this study takes S primary school in T city as an example to study the main problems existing in the homework of the senior grade of primary school,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies for the problems found.In this study,291 senior students and 5 teachers from S primary school in T city were studied by using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and text analysis.First of all,based on reading and sorting out the relevant literature,it is established to investigate students from the aspects of homework quantity,time,difficulty,type,source,parents’ participation and correction.Secondly,according to the investigation of the students,supplemented by interviews with additional teachers,the following problems are found in the homework of the senior primary school students: the implementation of the policy is superficial,and the distribution among subjects is uneven;The difficulty of homework is "one size fits all" and there is no difference.Homework forms are single and lack of richness.The students’ study habits have not been formed,and they have not set up a correct attitude towards homework.Homework resources are poorly developed and underutilized.Outstanding problems such as single evaluation subject and method of homework.According to the problems existing in the investigation,the main reasons are that the school management is not in place and there is no complete operation system.The "score-only" theory under the examination system;Teachers are deeply influenced bytraditional homework.Lack of teachers’ professional ability and accomplishment;Lack of effective cooperation between home and school;Students lack the sense of ownership in learning.Facing the main problems existing in homework for the senior grade of primary school,this study aims at reforming educational concepts and promoting homework reform.Optimize job design and implement effective job strategies;Perfect the operation system and strengthen cooperation and exchange;Change the evaluation method,promote sharing and exchange,and put forward suggestions for improvement in four aspects.The results of the study are expected to be of some reference value to the improvement of homework for senior primary school students in the future. |
