Objective: To observe the effect of moderate and small strength resistance accompanied by blood flow restriction(KAATSU)on the strength of lower extremity of male college basketball players. Methods: This study recruited and screened 32 basketball students from Beijing Sports University to conduct experiments, and were randomly divided into four groups:blank control group(C),20%1RM squat with blood flow restriction group(20%1RM Squat + KAATSU,20%SK),40% 1RM squat with blood flow restriction group(40%1RM Squat + KAATSU,40%SK)and 75%1RM squat group(75%S).The pressure value of blood flow restriction is 245±10mm Hg.Before and after the experiment, the squat jump height, isokinetic peak torque and squat 1RM test of the four groups were measured.Results:(1)Comparison between before and after the experiment in the group:After the experiment,20%SK,40%SK and 75%S showed a significant increase in squat jump height, isokinetic peak torque and squat 1RM(P<0.05),The blank control group had no significant difference in the three indicators before and after the experiment(P>0.05).(2)Comparison between the groups after the experiment: There was no significant difference in the squat and jump height indexes of the data after the experiment in each group(P>0.05);After the experiment,20%SK,40%SK and75%S were significantly different from the blank control group in the index of isokinetic peak torque(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between20%SK,40%SK and 75%S(P>0.05);After the experiment, the squat 1RM indicators,40%SK(P<0.05),20%SK(P<0.05),75%S(P<0.05)were significantly different from the blank control group,of which 75%S compared with 40%SK,20%SK has a larger increase, but there is no significant difference between 20%SK and 40%SK(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)75% 1RM squat training for 5 weeks can significantly improve isokinetic peak torque and 1RM squat performance.(2)The squat training of 20% 1RM and 40% 1RM with 245 ± 10 mm Hg blood flow restriction for 5 weeks, respectively, can significantly increase the isokinetic peak torque and squat 1RM.(3)The effect of20% 1RM squat with 245±10 mm Hg blood flow restriction on isokinetic peak torque and squat 1RM performance during 5 weeks was not different from that of 40%1RM squat with 245±10 mm Hg blood flow restriction.
