| Forgiveness is a common topic of discussion on the subject of Philosophy,Ethics,Pedagogy and Psychology etc..Nowadays,forgiveness has become the object of scientific research from the original pure humanistic concept.From the perspective of psychology,forgiveness is individual’s reaction to offenders,the adverse consequences of violations and the cause of the reaction,the change process from the negative to the positive psychological.Reward and punishment are the common behavior in daily life,and it’s also a general and important teaching method in basic education in our country at present.Junior school students are at the critical period of growth,according to the development model of forgiveness,individual’s forgiveness at this stage are also at the critical period of development.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the characteristics of junior school students’ forgiveness development and its relationship with reward and punishment.There are two studies in this paper.Study 1 used to questionnaire to 632 junior school students to explore the characteristics of junior school students’ forgiveness;Study 2:used the modified Taylor Aggression Paradigm(TAP)to explore the effects of reward and punishment to the junior school student’s forgiveness by testing 91 students.Conclusions:(1)The development of junior school students’ forgiveness are overall in the middle level,and have a positive bias,which needs to develop;There are grade differences in the forgiveness development and its three dimensions of junior school students.The 3th grade students scored the lowest,the 1st grade students scored the highest.(2)After the violations occurred,to reward or punish the offenders,will have an impa ct on junior school students’ act of forgiveness: Junior school students would more easily to forgive offenders that has been punished;Girls in junior school are more likely to forgive offenders than boys;The 1st and 2nd grade students are more likely to forgive offenders than 3th grade students. |
