Building a beautiful and livable countryside is the people’s wish, but also an important goal of rural revitalization strategy, whose main purpose is to improve farmers’ living conditions and living environment. In China’s new rural development stage, new rural communities are a new form of promoting socialist urban-rural integration and rural community development, and are an important part of the new urbanization process.New rural communities help optimize the allocation of land resources, promote rural economic development, change the loose layout of traditional villages, improve the living environment of rural residents and enhance the quality of life of rural residents. However,in recent years, along with the rapid development of new rural communities in China, there are phenomena such as "forced demolition and relocation","being moved upstairs" and "no nostalgia" in community construction, which are contrary to the purpose of improving farmers’ quality of life. This is contrary to the purpose of improving the quality of life of farmers. Therefore,it is particularly important to study the development of new rural communities, especially the happiness index of community residents.Through research,we can find out the current problems of community development and promote the construction of new rural communities that are farmer-centered and satisfactory to farmers,so that the construction of new rural communities can truly achieve "making farmers see the mountains, see the water and remember nostalgia".This paper explores the construction and development of new rural communities from the perspective of the residents of new rural communities, combines the residents’ feelings about the use of new rural community living facilities and the living environment, builds an evaluation system of the community residents’ happiness index, reflects the needs of rural residents from the bottom up based on the evaluation results of the community residents’ happiness index, and provides theoretical support and decision-making for the Linyi government to formulate rural community development policies. The evaluation system is designed to reflect the needs of rural residents from the bottom up,and to provide theoretical support and decision-making for the government of Linyi to formulate rural community development policies.Among the communities in Linyi City,Changgou Community,Houlinzi Community and Gong’anling Community were selected as the research subjects, and these three communities are typical and representative.Through literature review, field research and observation, the common problems of the new rural communities were understood, and then the happiness index questionnaire was used for in-depth analysis to understand the happiness index gap between different communities on different evaluation indicators and the real demands of the residents.Based on the residents’ perspective, this paper draws on the evaluation indexes and methods of related literature to construct an evaluation system of the happiness index of residents of new rural communities, which contains 1 primary index,4 secondary indexes,8 tertiary indexes and 24 quaternary indexes, and uses SPSS statistical analysis software, adopts binary logistic regression to analyze the complaints of residents of new rural communities, and uses entropy weight-TOPSIS method to evaluate and rank the happiness indices of residents in three new rural communities.According to the results of empirical analysis, combined with the actual situation of new rural communities in Linyi, this paper mainly obtained the following conclusions:(1)From the analysis of the happiness of residents of new rural communities in Linyi,it can be obtained that the residents belong to the happiness level. The happiness index scores of each resident are community housing, social effect, community economy and community environment in descending order.(2)Analysis of variance shows that eight items, namely, community cultural and sports activities, greening, storage of agricultural machinery, drying and storage sites, economic income items, economic transformation, property work and participation rate in residents’ affairs, are the aspects of residents’ life in new rural communities in Linyi City that need urgent improvement.(3)Residents’ gender, age, education level, family composition, monthly income and source of income all have an impact on the happiness index of residents in new rural communities.(4)Average monthly household income has a significant positive relationship with whether to complain about new rural communities, while community economic transformation, community interpersonal interaction and community committee work have a significant negative relationship with whether to complain about new rural communities.(5)In the ranking of the happiness index of residents in new rural communities,it can be concluded that Public Security Ridge community ranked first in terms of rating, and Houlinzi and Changgou communities ranked second and third in that order. Finally, based on the results of the empirical analysis and the specific situation of new rural communities in Linyi City,we propose development countermeasures based on the perspective of the residents of new rural communities from the governmental and social aspects, which can help promote the construction of new rural communities and provide theoretical reference and decision-making reference for other new rural communities,so that new rural communities can find their own development direction. |
