Research On Patriotism Education For Young People In Xinjiang In The New Era

Patriotism is a powerful spiritual driving force that unites the sons and daughters of the Chinese people to work together and forge ahead.As the hope of the country and the future of the nation,young people are the backbone of a powerful country in the new era and the top priority of patriotic education.For a long time,hostile forces at home and abroad have been beguiling and wooing young people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang,trying to split Xinjiang and then China.Therefore,strengthening the patriotism education of Xinjiang teenagers in the new era is not only an inevitable choice to implement the inherent requirements of cultivating morality and cultivate new talents in the era,but also the only way to consolidate the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community,and it is also a practical need to maintain social stability and long-term stability in Xinjiang,which has important practical and theoretical significance.On the basis of clarifying the related concepts of patriotism education,this paper expounds the necessity of strengthening patriotism education for Xinjiang teenagers in the new era,and then analyzes the characteristics of the current Xinjiang patriotism education object,complex educational environment,rich educational content and arduous educational tasks.Subsequent research lays a solid foundation.Through a questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes and summarizes the current status of patriotic education for teenagers in Xinjiang.While achieving results,there are still problems such as insufficient patriotic awareness of Xinjiang teenagers,need to improve their sense of identity,need to innovate in educational methods,and insufficient educational practice.Analyzing its root causes lies in the fact that the misunderstanding caused by the influence of "problem textbooks" has not been completely corrected,the social and network environment in Xinjiang is complex,the application of educational methods is not flexible enough,and the role of educational carriers is not fully exerted.After finding out the root of the problem,combined with the current characteristics of the times and the Party Central Committee’s strategy of governing Xinjiang,put forward feasible countermeasures in enriching the content of patriotism education,expanding the educational carrier,innovating educational methods and optimizing the educational environment.
