Social Work Involved In The Elderly Living Alone Community Home Care A Practical Study Of R Community In T City

With the aggravation of aging,the number of old people is increasing year by year.With the acceleration of urbanization,the pension problem of the elderly living alone is gradually revealed.Community home care service is gradually respected by more and more elderly people as a kind of pension mode which conforms to Chinese traditional thought.Therefore,using professional theoretical experience of social work,it is urgent to find a suitable route for the elderly living alone in community home care service.This paper takes R community in T City as an example,uses interview method and questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation of old-age care services for the elderly living alone in R community,analyzes the needs of community home old-age care services for the elderly living alone in R community,and listens to the suggestions of the elderly living alone.Combined with the preliminary survey results,it is found that R community has established a canteen for the elderly and simple day care,and is constantly improving.The elderly living alone in R community have a sense of loneliness because their psychological and emotional needs cannot be met.In this paper,group work and case work are used to carry out practical research,and the loneliness of group members can be relieved through group work,so that group members can better integrate into the community and realize their self-value.The rational emotion model was used to find out the clients’ irrational beliefs and improve their satisfaction with life.The study found that social work can play a positive role in the intervention of home care services for the elderly living alone.Combined with practical research reflect five suggestions.That is,to adapt to local conditions,starting with the strongest needs;Overall planning and coordination,the involvement of social organizations should not be as soldiers fighting;Because of people,personalized service;Stimulate waste heat and encourage the elderly living alone to participate in community construction;Fusion through,the old and the small together.Strive to provide practical experience for social work to intervene in community home care services for the elderly living alone.
