Case For Social Work Intervention The Home Care Service For The Urban Elderly Living Alone

After the third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee,the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up,the rapid development of economy,with the development of economy,China's family structure,ideology has been changed,it is no longer the same as before with the family,along with the emergence of more elderly family.Not only has the general characteristics of the elderly in the elderly,and it also has its particularity,the elderly living alone lonely and helpless,a person's life.In this study,the elderly population in city,social support network theory as the starting point,using qualitative research methods,with 19 over the age of 65 Elderly people living alone in Wuhan Wuhuli in the community as the research object,research status and social demand of old man living alone the old-age support network,and using the method of case work for elderly people living alone to intervene,to improve their ability to participate in society and their ability to solve problems.Through the analysis of the elderly in community of Wuhan city in Wuhuli psychological support,economic support,life care,current situation and demand of home security and social interaction,through the combination of the two dimensions of formal and informal support,the elderly social support network reconstruction.The survey found that the elderly mostly rely on pensions to maintain their daily there is a part of life,rely on subsistence allowances and help children;most of the old man said home is their first choice,when life can not take care of themselves when considering life or to go to the nursing home and other pension institutions together with their children;most of the elderly living alone showed a strong spiritual comfort demand,they hope that their children can often go home to visit them;almost all the elderly are suffering from chronic diseases,there is a demand for medical treatment.The cases in the form of intervention of elderly people living alone Analysis,hoping to improve the status of the elderly living alone play a roleThis paper is divided into four parts:The first part is mainly about the research background and significance,research status,research methods,research theory and so onThe second part is about the current situation and problems of social support services,elderly home care in Wuhuli in the present situation including:elderly home security,economic status of elderly people living alone,the elderly life care,elderly people living alone.Social needs include:comfort,emergency services,life care,medical and health services,information communication.The problems include:lack of formal support and informal support is insufficient.The third part is the use of case work methods in the elderly home care in the case study,through the analysis of specific case describes the process of case work in home care for the elderly living alone.The fourth part draws the corresponding conclusion.Case management,according to the needs of the construction of community service;diversified support network;improve service personnel professional level.Through these ways to better serve the elderly,improve their self-help ability,improve their quality of life.
