Study On The Contradiction Between Supply And Demand Of Long Term Care Services For Disabled Elderly In Xi’an And Its Countermeasures

With the improvement of economic and medical level,people’s life expectancy continues to extend,coupled with the implementation of family planning policy and the decline of people’s desire to have children,resulting in the aging of the population,which also brings the increasing number of disabled old people.At present,the elderly population over 60 years old in China is close to 250 million,including more than 40 million disabled old people,which brings huge long-term care Nursing service needs.As far as Xi’an is concerned,it is estimated that in 2021,the elderly population over 60 will reach 1.55 million,and the number of disabled elderly will continue to rise,which has brought a huge test to the elderly care service industry in Xi’an.How to better provide the long-term care services needed by disabled elderly and meet the diversified needs of disabled elderly is an urgent problem to be paid attention to and solved,which is related to social harmony,stability and progress Exhibition.This paper mainly uses questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the long-term care service of disabled elderly in Xi’an.Firstly,it investigates the demand preference of the disabled elderly and the current situation of long-term care services in home,community and pension institutions.Secondly,it finds out the contradiction between supply and demand of long-term care services in various care modes in Xi’an,and puts forward some suggestions Finally,according to the causes of the contradiction between supply and demand,the paper puts forward the improvement countermeasures to improve the long-term care service system in Xi’an.Through the study,we can draw the following conclusions: in the home care model,the pressure of the main supply body,the lack of professionalism and diversification of service supply content lead to the demand of the disabled elderly can not be met;in the community care model,the main supply body is insufficient,the level of service content is low,the lack of accuracy and effectiveness,and the lack of connection with home care lead to the service supply is difficult to meet the demand of the disabled elderly;in the institutional care model,the lack of professionalism of nursing staff,the lack of effectiveness of service content,and the unreasonable setting of institutions lead to the failure to fully meet the needs of the elderly.According to the results of the analysis,the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the contradiction between supply and demand of long-term care services are put forward.It is suggested that we should establish a multi-agent supply system,increase government investment,broaden financing channels,improve service supply system,and improve relevant policies In order to improve the long-term care service system in Xi’an and provide more comprehensive and high-quality care services for the disabled elderly,we need to improve the long-term care service system in Xi’an from the five aspects of demand assessment and service quality supervision system.
