With the increase in the total population of China, the decline in the birth rate, and the increasing living standards of the people in my country, the average life expectancy of the elderly population in China continues to increase, which means that the growth rate of my country’s youth is much lower than the growth rate of the elderly population, and the degree of aging continues to deepen."Population aging" has become a worldwide issue. However, with the increase of age, some elderly people have gradually changed from healthy elderly to disabled elderly due to their own health status and ability to take care of themselves. Most disabled elderly people are due to old age, illness,or physical damage,so they need someone to provide them with long-term and stable long-term care services. With the promulgation of the "14th Five-Year Plan",it is required to improve the old-age service system, focus on “one old and one small” to improve the population service system, promote the coordinated development of old-age unemployment and the old-age industry, and especially emphasize the protection of disabled elderly people. This further reflects the country’s care and attention to disabled elderly people. However, the "422" model of the traditional family has been unable to provide long-term care for the disabled elderly. Therefore, this article attempts to integrate the disabled elderly across the country, analyze the problems that exist in concentration, and provide more comprehensive suggestions. This article takes disabled elderly people across the country as the research object.First, through the analysis of the status quo of long-term care service model selection, find out many factors that affect the choice.Secondly, use the 2018 CHLHS data to calculate the key factors through the multivariate logit analysis method. The saliency parameter. Finally, according to the analysis results, the factors that affect the choice of long-term care services for the disabled elderly are obtained, and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in combination with the socio-economic,political and cultural background. After analysis,it is found that the state provides a more professional care model for the disabled elderly, and the desire for traditional family care models has gradually withdrawn from the stage of history, but most disabled elderly are still bound by traditional concepts or psychological needs due to their own conditions and other factors,Still prefers the home care service model and the family care service model. At the same time,it can also be seen that as the degree of disability increases, the elderly with the higher the degree of disability are more inclined to institutional care. The empirical results show that factors such as age, health status, and economic level have a great influence on the choice of long-term care service models for the disabled elderly.Although the state aims to protect and improve the living standards of the elderly, with the increase in the number of disabled elderly and the improvement of their living standards, the demand for long-term care services for the disabled elderly not only stays at the basic level of solving the basic level of food and clothing, but also It is the level of medical service and the demand for medical resources. However, due to the imperfections of community care and institutional care, medical equipment resources, etc.,the responsibility and burden of care are completely borne by the family. In the long run,the care risks of disabled elderly will overflow and become social risks. Therefore,in the future work plan, relevant departments should proceed from the actual situation of the disabled elderly and formulate relevant policies from the perspective of the people. In addition to increasing the supply of long-term care services for the disabled elderly, they should also improve the long-term care services. The three major ways of care, implement the policy goal of "inclusive" pension, fully respect the main role of the people, and reduce the burden on the family, and work together with them to meet the diverse long-term care service needs of the disabled elderly. |
