Research On Citizens’ Network Political Participation In China

After more than 20 years of development and reform,the Internet has profoundly changed the lives of every one of us,and has become an important channel for Chinese citizens to participate in politics.This article uses literature research methods,comparative research methods,and case analysis methods to sort out and summarize the status and development prospects of Chinese citizens’ online political participation in order to promote the formation of an orderly and healthy pattern of citizens’ online political participation.The full text is based on the development process,actual practice,political effects,existing undesirable tendencies,and the logic of path selection in response to the problem of the development process of Chinese citizens’ online political participation.The first chapter mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic of the article,reviews the current research status of citizens’ online political participation,and clarifies the topic of this article.From the perspective of the development of my country’s Internet technology,the second chapter divides the development process of Chinese citizens’ online political participation into three stages in combination with the research report issued by the Internet Research Center,and describes the characteristics of each stage.The third chapter analyzes the practical ways of Chinese citizens’ online political participation,including online political expression,online political supervision and online political mobilization,and their political effects.The fourth chapter discusses the unhealthy tendencies of Chinese citizens’ online political participation,namely,disorder,imbalance and irrationality,and the reasons for these unhealthy tendencies.Chapter 5 proposes to overcome the undesirable tendencies of online political participation and promote online politics from the aspects of improving the rules and regulations of online political participation,improving the quality and ability of citizens’ online political participation,improving the level of government network governance,and innovating network governance technical methods.Good development of participation.
