A Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Voluntary Service Of College Students In Private Universities In Fujian Province

After more than 20 years of exploration and development,China’s voluntary service has made many outstanding achievements in the management of social affairs,and has been widely recognized by all sectors of society.Voluntary Service has become a new initiative of the government to attach importance to and support the participation of volunteers in public service.This paper analyzes the situation of voluntary service participation,management,operation and social security in private colleges and universities in Fujian Province,this paper probes into some problems existing in the voluntary service of non-governmental colleges and universities in Fujian Province at present,including the guarantee of volunteers’ rights and interests in personal and medical fields and the lack of government financial input;Second,the management of voluntary service by private colleges does not match with the rapid development of voluntary service,these include the low level of socialized operation,the obvious paternalism of voluntary service,the narrow project area involved in the management of public affairs,and the lack of scientific management of voluntary service organizations,including the lack of scientific and standardized standards for volunteer recruitment,the lack of professional training system,the non-transparent and single form of incentives for voluntary service,the lack of comprehensive evaluation mechanism for Voluntary Service;Fourth,the volunteers to improve their understanding of the spirit of public service,including the volunteers to participate in public service motives impure,volunteers lack of awareness of the main social participation.This paper puts forward some countermeasures to optimize the voluntary service of private universities in Fujian province: constructing the top-level design of the systematization of the voluntary service of private universities;It is necessary to perfect the operation mechanism of voluntary service of non-governmental university students,guarantee the voluntary service of non-governmental university students with multi-subjects,and strengthen the ability of voluntary service of non-governmental university students.
