Study On The Mechanism Of Youth Voluntary Service Participation In Social Governance In Colleges And Universities

Social governance capacity is the foundation of the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.Nowadays,social governance is in the critical period of upgrading.Social collaboration and public participation are the important contents of social governance system.Through youth voluntary service,colleges and universities contribute to social governance and provide social services together with social governance subjects,which has become an important behavior in social governance.In the process of college youth volunteer service participating in social governance,the construction of a benign mechanism can coordinate the cooperative relationship among volunteers,colleges and society,and optimize the development of college youth volunteer service,which is an inexhaustible driving force to promote the reform of social governance system.The internal functions of voluntary service and social governance are consistent with the development goals.Social governance activities open up the development space for the youth volunteer service in Colleges and universities,and provide theoretical guidance and mechanism reference.At the same time,college youth volunteer service to a certain extent fills the gap of government public service,brings high-quality human resources for social governance,and improves the efficiency of social governance.In the process of participating in social governance,college youth volunteer service and other social governance subjects complement each other and jointly promote the construction of a harmonious society.China University of Geosciences(Beijing)Youth Volunteer Association(shorted for “CUGB Volunteer”)launched the “dandelion in the mountains” teaching support project,“China open volunteer service” and other volunteer service projects are the reference cases of this paper to elaborate the participation of volunteer service in social governance.Taking the Youth Association of local university as the research object,through field investigation,in-depth interview,questionnaire survey and other means,combined with my experience of participating in voluntary service activities,under the guidance of the theory of multiple co governance,citizen participation theory and social governance theory with Chinese characteristics,this paper systematically combs and analyzes the cases of participation in voluntary service and social governance of the Youth Association of local university,And then draw relevant conclusions.At present,all kinds of volunteer service elements such as youth volunteer service organizations,service objects and social resources in Colleges and universities have not formed a good relationship.There are some problems,such as insufficient existing resources,imperfect governance platform,irregular governance behavior and imperfect governance mechanism.By learning from the successful experience of youth social organizations at home and abroad in participating in social governance,this paper argues that we can build an equal and friendly social governance platform,build a harmonious and autonomous social governance system,and standardize the social governance behavior of college youth volunteer service from three aspects: high-level talent training mechanism,normalized project mechanism,and scientific and efficient management mechanism,Hope that this study can provide a useful reference for the long-term development of youth volunteer service in Colleges and universities.
