| Under the leadership of the ruling party,the aim of social governance is solving social problems,protecting people’s livelihood,and promoting harmonious development of society with grassroots as the foundation and support.County(district)public security organs are the key to realizing social governance.A large number of complicated public security work puts some grass-roots police officers under tremendous pressure and job burnout,which affects the efficient performance of their duties and daily work.Therefore,it is particularly important to investigate the burnout level of the grassroots police in the county(district)public security organs,the causes of job burnout,and the formulation of relatively complete countermeasures to alleviate job burnout.This paper took the grassroots policemen of three police stations in Y city as the research object,and used stratified sampling to survey a total of 260 grassroots policemen.Based on the theories of resource conservation,general response,and resource protection,the basis of the literature on grassroots police burnout were studied.Six hypotheses including personal status(demographic information),work pressure,job satisfaction and leisure activities,higher-level police feedback environment,and the relationship between psychological empowerment and occupational burnout were put forward,and a questionnaire was designed.By issuing,collecting,and analyzing questionnaires,the impact of burnout to the city’s police station’s working environment,daily work,and work resources were analyzed.Six hypotheses were shown as follow:H1:Job burnout differs in personal status.H2:There is a positive correlation between work pressure and job burnout.H3:There is a negative correlation between job satisfaction and job burnout.H4:There is a negative correlation between sports and leisure activities and occupational burnout.H5:The higher-level police reported that the environment was negatively correlated with job burnout.H6:The higher-level police’s feedback environment will have a positive impact on psychological empowerment,and the psychological empowerment plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the higher-level police’s feedback environment and burnout(overall and in all dimensions).In addition,on the basis of learning from the research on police response to job burnout in other regions at home and abroad,countermeasures to alleviate the job burnout of grassroots police from police self-regulation,family,organization,colleague and other social support systems and organizational support systems were proposed. |
