Study On Operation Mechanism Of Community Police In China

Since the introduction of community policing theory from the West in the late1980 s,China has carried out the construction of community policing with Chinese characteristics in combination with the actual situation of social security.Under the background of social governance innovation and service-oriented government construction,the existing community policing model can no longer meet the needs of the new era.Therefore,it is necessary to improve and innovate the operation mechanism of community policing to solve the problem.Using the methods of literature research,case study,questionnaire survey,interview and so on,this thesis selects the case of community policing in Jiukeshu police station in Tongzhou District,Beijing,and makes a field investigation on the current situation of community policing in grass-roots police stations,finds out the problems existing in the operation mechanism of community policing,analyzes the causes,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of implementation mechanism,duty orientation and power distribution mechanism,safeguard mechanism and examination mechanism,combining with the theoretical research and practical experience at home and abroad,So that the operation mechanism of community policing can be continuously developed and perfected,so as to better maintain social security and stability.
