Research On Practical Problems And Countermeasures Of Community Policing In Dongguan City

Community policing plays an irreplaceable role in the prevention and reduction of crime.Community policing takes the community as the center and realizes the improvement of the public security environment through the management of various public security problems in the community.The theory of community policing has only been in our country for about ten years,and the application of community policing theory in our country is even shorter.Because of the differences in economic development,the allocation of police resources is also very different.So far,because of this,so far,The theory of community policing based on our national conditions has not been formed,and there is not a set of effective standardized policing operation mode to be popularized in China.Based on the theories of public management and community policing,this paper takes community policing in Dongguan city as the research object,analyzes the present situation of community policing in Dongguan and explores the reasons for the existing problems in the promotion of community policing model.The author expects to perfect the construction model of community policing in Dongguan City by learning from the experience of community policing at home and abroad.It is found that the following problems exist in the construction of community policing in Dongguan:the understanding of community policing is insufficient,the management mode of community policing still follows the traditional policing management mode,and the community police security can not meet the requirements of community policing.And inadequate incentives for police officers.The main causes of the problems in community policing construction in Dongguan include:the socialization of police work is not high,the traditional branch system is imprinted,the logistics guarantee mechanism of community service is not perfect and the incentive mechanism of examination and evaluation is unreasonable.In reference to Beijing,Shanghai,Nanjing,Guangzhou and other domestic cities and London,New York,the United States and Victoria,Australia,the typical building of community policing On the basis of experience and inspiration,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the community policing in Dongguan from the aspects of promoting the socialization of community policing,strengthening the innovation of community policing management mode,implementing community policing logistics guarantee and perfecting the examination and encouragement mechanism.
