| The emergence and popularization of the Internet has changed our pattern of production and life, and created a new fluid space society. The popularization of mobile phones and the Internet and the development of auxiliary software have made it possible for the visually impaired to participate in the Internet.Based on the understanding of the Internet usage of the visually impaired group, this paper makes an in-depth study on the presentation and identification of the visually impaired group in the network society through in-depth interviews, ethnography and network ethnography. It is found that the Internet provides a possible habitat for the digital inclusion of the visually impaired. On the one hand, the emergence of the Internet has greatly broadened their access to information and further extended their compensatory organs, which to a certain extent makes up for their visual defects;the virtual and anonymous nature of the Internet provides buffering protection for the digital inclusion of the visually impaired. It has greatly improved the confidence of the visually impaired in their social integration and encouraged them to take a key step. The network provides a low-cost broad stage for the visually impaired to perform, increases their opportunities to appear in the public field of vision, and improves their self-identity;in the fluid space constructed by the network, the visually impaired can join their own communities and realize social interaction.Through the interaction of the network community, they can find the strength of the organization and get more courage and methods to go to the society;the new expression and action space created by the network enables them to widely participate in the discussion of social public affairs and gather the strength of resistance. However, the lack of barrier free function development of platform information, the entertainment bias of network, information cocoons and the irreplaceability of body, and the low network literacy of young people with visual impairment restrict their digital inclusion. In the process of digital inclusion, the presentation and identity within the group are differentiated. There is a phenomenon of "displacement" and "imbalance" in the self presentation of blind school students. On the one hand,it is due to the limitation of objective conditions in the communication of the visually impaired in the network community. The group has strict management and control of self-image in the network and strive to present a more "perfect" self in the network community, and deliberately cover up their own defects. In the process of impression decoration, they can only vent part of their depression by sensational expression of love.At the same time, this kind of expression results in the separation of the online ideal self and the offline real self, resulting in the disharmony of their self cognition and the decrease of their self-identity.On the other hand, family reasons and school protection have an impact on the group’s social cognition and self cognition. Not being cared for in the family will reduce their basic trust. The huge contrast between school life and social life further deepens their anxiety. If their self-identity can not be "sustained",they will fall into a certain degree of loss and have a negative impact on themselves doubt. Some highly educated visually impaired people have a clear understanding of themselves and the group, and they have a higher degree of self disclosure in the network society. They are more willing to present their true selves out of the desire to let the discerning people know more about the ordinary life of the visually impaired and encourage more visually impaired friends. In the network society, they will actively participate in the discussion of public issues, pay more attention to the issues related to the disabled, especially the visually impaired, and most of them choose to speak out to support other visually impaired people. It is in this collective action that the group identity is deepened. The differentiation within the group affects the accumulation of social capital, and then leads to the decline of cultural identity and the weakness of group power. The presentation of the visually impaired group outside the group, that is,the mainstream society,is alienated. In the presentation of media, the visually impaired group is inspirational, grateful and suffering. In the eyes of healthy people, the visually impaired group is strange and marginal. From the perspective of communication content,in the concept of media construction, the visually impaired are only regarded as a symbol to explain the truth or a symbol of spirit, but not as equal, dignified social citizens and ordinary urban workers. From the perspective of communication form,on the one hand, the news reports and short video live broadcast form, which occupy the majority of the communication, have a narrow audience because of the serious labeling of visual impairment, and lack of high viewing rate of film and television works, variety shows and other forms of healthy TV.On the other hand, the long-term tagging communication will make people have a sense of separation from the visually impaired groups. They think that they have a natural distance from the mainstream society, resulting in conscious exclusion. This exclusion will be internalized into ideas. When they see similar information, they subconsciously filter it and weaken the communication effect, and aggravate the difficulty of digital inclusion of the visually impaired. Finally, based on the above research, the author tentatively puts forward the concept of "integrated communication",which is defined as the ’communication environment to improve the image of the visually impaired group. The visually impaired group should not be isolated in the narrow labeled communication environment, and the physical defects of the visually impaired group should not be magnified or consumed deliberately. The visually impaired and the healthy people should share a more equal image and identity Now in the communication environment,we should guide the public to face up to and understand the daily life of the visually impaired group, enhance the communication and interaction between the two sides, and gradually eliminate the exclusion of the inherent concept of the healthy people. The feasible methods include the development of game community, movies, variety shows,TV plays and other forms of expression that can go deep into daily life. |
