The core of this paper is to combine the Cognitive-Functional Approach and the teaching of the split words in Chinese as a foreign language,and to design and study the application of the Cognitive-Functional Approach to the teaching of split words in Chinese as a foreign language based on the basic principles and teaching concepts of the Cognitive-Functional Approach and the current learning situation of the split words among international students.This paper first expounds the reason for the topic selection,research purpose and significance,research status,research objects and research methods,as well as the source of corpus.The first chapter explains the teaching overview of the split words,including the definition of the split words and several extended forms of the split words.The second chapter of this paper takes the senior students of Huaqiao University as the survey object,selects the different expansion methods of some separable words from the syllabus of Chinese vocabulary level,and carries out a questionnaire survey.It is intended to understand the mastery of separable words of foreign students through the questionnaire.Then,according to the results of the questionnaire survey,it summarizes the types of errors they have and analyzes the reasons for the errors.The third chapter,based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey results in the second chapter,expounds the theoretical basis and basic principles of cognitive function teaching method,and then applies the cognitive function teaching method to the clutch word teaching for teaching design.
