Chinese national custom words refer to the words that have the color of Chinese culture in the Chinese vocabulary system and can not be translated directly in other languages.Chinese national custom words are different from ordinary Chinese words.They reflect the unique concept of Chinese national culture.This concept of national culture is closely related to the broad and profound Chinese national culture.It is very difficult for learners to understand the Chinese national custom semantics brought by Chinese culture.In order to enable learners to connect words with Chinese culture,experience the unique meaning contained in Chinese national customs words,and understand and use such Chinese national customs words when communicating in Chinese,teachers must find appropriate and efficient teaching methods.The teaching of Chinese folk words should be a high combination of culture and vocabulary teaching.Under the current teaching environment,there is no special Chinese folk words course for learners.The culture course is relatively independent from other courses.Most Chinese folk words are presented to learners through comprehensive courses,This situation is not conducive to learners to combine culture and vocabulary for special and comprehensive learning.At present,there is little research on the combination of teaching theory and teaching practice of Chinese national custom words in the academic circle.Therefore,we must strengthen the combination of theory and practice in order to better improve the teaching level of Chinese national custom words and improve learners’ cross-cultural communication ability.From the perspective of the combination of language teaching and culture teaching,this study combines the teaching theory of Chinese national custom words with teaching practice.On the one hand,it investigates and analyzes the acquisition of Chinese national custom words by advanced Chinese learners by means of questionnaire and statistical analysis,and finds out various problems existing in the acquisition of Chinese national custom words;On the other hand,based on the analysis of learners’ problems,this study grasps the root causes of the problems.Finally,according to the conclusions of investigation and analysis and relevant language teaching theories,this study tries to put forward some teaching methods for Chinese folk words,and use these methods for teaching design to test the feasibility of this study,I hope it can provide a valuable reference for the teaching of Chinese folk words.
