Textbook is a direct basis and an important carrier for teaching activities, and teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, belonged to teaching of second language, the quality of its textbooks has a strong and great impact on the effect of the teaching of language knowledge and the cultivation of language skills. Therefore, in teaching activities of teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, the textbooks writing has been deeply being concerned and has an unusual position. This paper, through investigation and comparison of Advanced Course in Standard Chinese (Revised Edition) and Develop Chinese (Second Edition) Advanced Comprehensive, analyses and sums up the similarities and differences of textbook style designing and arrangement, text sources, text subjects, text genres, text length, and language knowledge and language elements between them, in order to have contributed to improvement and development of teaching activities and make some suggestions for using, modification and writing of textbooks, in future comprehensive courses of advanced stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is mainly divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, introducing the objects, scopes, reasons, content, angles, methods, purposes and significance of studying of the paper, and inducing and generalizing the previous related research results. The second part mainly investigates and compares on the style designing and arrangement of the two sets of textbooks, and then analyses and explores on the writing principles and some things needing for improvement of textbooks, and puts forward some reference proposals. The third part, as the core part of the paper, investigating and comparing on all texts of the two sets of textbooks, researches and analyses on the sources, subjects, genres, the number of characters and so on of the texts, concludes their advantages and disadvantages, and then makes improved suggestions for reference. The fourth part, starting with the language knowledge and language elements of the two sets of textbooks, and then investigating and comparing on them, analyses and summarizes their advantages and disadvantages, and then provides some suggestions for future using, modification and writing of textbooks. The last part is the conclusion. |
