| English grammar is the basis of English learning as well as the rules of language use,which is crucial for English learning.Junior middle school is the key period for students to systematically learn grammar and lay a good foundation for grammar.However,there are still problems of “spoon-feeding” teaching and exam-oriented teaching in junior middle school English grammar teaching.Junior high school students generally have low interest in grammar learning and even anxiety in grammar learning,and also have difficulties in the application of grammar.Therefore,improving students’ interest in learning English grammar and realizing efficient grammar class in junior middle school have become the top priority of teaching.“Flipped classroom” is a kind of modern teaching model based on information technology science.It emphasizes the exchange of teaching emphasis in class and after class,breaks the objective constraints of teaching activities under the traditional teaching framework by time and place.Through the diversified teaching activities,“flipped classroom” can increase the fun of grammar learning,improve the efficiency of grammar learning and help to cultivate student’s grammar application ability.Supported by the platform of “A+ Classroom”,this study introduced the flipped classroom model into junior high school English grammar teaching to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of applying flipped classroom in junior high school English grammar teaching.This thesis mainly studied the following two questions: Firstly,can the application of flipped classroom in junior middle school grammar teaching effectively relieve junior middle school students’ anxiety and improve their interest in grammar learning?Secondly,can the application of flipped classroom in junior middle school grammar teaching improve students’ grammar level? In this experiment,95 students from two parallel classes in grade eight of a middle school in Harbin were selected as the experimental objects.The two classes,one as the control class was taught in the traditional grammar teaching mode and the other as the experimental class was taught in the flipped classroom grammar teaching mode based on the “A+ Classroom” platform.A 16-week teaching experiment was carried out in the two classes by contrast method.The first research question was answered through the analysis of the questionnaire survey results、classroom observation results and the interview results of teachers and students.The second research question was answered by comparing and analyzing the change of test scores before the research and after the research in experimental class and control class and analyzing the change of scores in experimental class alone,combined with the analysis of writing test scores of students before and after the research.The research results show that the flipped classroom teaching model based on the network teaching platform of “A+ Classroom” is feasible and effective in grammar teaching of junior middle school.It not only stimulates students’ interest in grammar learning and relieves their anxiety in grammar learning to promote grammar learning to a certain extent,but also improves students’ grammar level. |
