Since its inception,Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences has been widely used in the field of education.Based on the theory of multiple intelligences, this paper closely follows the current new situation of online teaching, and focuses on the design of online children’s Chinese teaching with its own experience, and describes how to use the theory of multiple intelligences to design and effectively carry out online Chinese children’s Chinese courses. This paper firstly sorts out the relevant research literature. On this basis,it explains the proposal of the theory of multiple intelligences, the content, development and influence of the theory of multiple intelligences on the field of education. At the same time,in order to achieve a better teaching effect in the teaching design, the feasibility of the theory of multiple intelligences and online Chinese language teaching for children is demonstrated and analyzed. Then,in order to verify the operability of the theory of multiple intelligences, the teaching design is based on the three mini-dialogue texts and one short text in the third volume of "Happy Chinese" Volume 2 Unit 8(Travel and Customs). For example, through the analysis of teaching objects, teaching hours, teaching objectives, teaching steps, teaching methods, teaching difficulties and teaching platforms, specific teaching design and implementation are carried out. Finally, after combining the teaching practice with students’ feedback, the whole teaching design is reflected, thus summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching practice process, and putting forward suggestions for Chinese teachers to conduct online children’s Chinese teaching according to the theory of multiple intelligences It also provides a useful reference for the development of online Chinese teaching for children.
