Research On The Creation Of Character Documentary Based On The Fusion Of Representation And Performance

The documentary takes real life as its creative theme,real characters and real events as its performance objects,and carries on the artistic creation and artistic promotion of its theme again.The reappearance and expression of documentary is an important technique of documentary creation.It has the functions of explaining background,stimulating emotion,relaxing rhythm,creating atmosphere,time and space,etc.It also has the functions of hint,metaphor,symbol,explanation and expression.The protagonist of the documentary《looking for Peng Yanjiao》is the poet Mr.Peng Yanjiao.Through the way of "reproduction" and "performance",the author presents Mr.Peng Yanjiao’s poetry manuscripts,correspondence and various valuable images and videos,reflecting his life course and poetic spirit,It also uses interviews and poetry recitation to describe Peng Yanjiao’s exploration of poetry creation and spread Chinese new poetry culture in the form of documentary.In this paper,a total of three chapters,through case study,investigation and exploration,experience summary and other methods,from the perspective of practice analysis of documentary,first from the overall account of the background and significance of the topic,the creation process and value,followed by a detailed analysis of each part of the film《 Looking for Peng Yanjiao 》describes Mr.Peng’s love for Chinese New Poetry and the hard conditions for his creation,so as to inspire more scholars and sociologists of Xiang Tan University to explore and innovate in the fields of ideology,culture and art.
