Howard Gardner put forward in the study of the multiple intelligence theory suggests that at least eight human intelligence,in under the guidance of this theory can make the teacher according to student’s multiple intelligence and personality assign different personalized,diversified homework,and through this type of homework,students can develop different potential and intelligence,promote the diversified development of students.In the process of English teaching and learning,the most important and essential component is junior high school English homework,which will have a great impact on the effect of English teaching methods.This paper is guided by the theory of multiple intelligence,using interview method and questionnaire research methods such as surrounding the present situation of junior middle school English homework design research,summarized the existing problems and discussed the cause of the problem,and then to carry on the multiple intelligence theory applied in the concrete practice of the junior middle school English homework design,analysis work practice before the back as a result,summarizes the problems,And discusses the advantages of applying it to junior high school English homework design.This study not only helps to junior middle school English teachers in the new,personalized,diversified multidimensional perspective on design work,but also help students to develop individuation,strengthen their innovation ability,enhance the level of its practice,let students more consciously and actively into the English learning,more scientific and reasonable to promote the all-round development of students.Through this design,we find that the English homework design under the guidance of multiple intelligence theory can closely link textbooks with students’ real life,so that students have a better understanding and grasp of textbook knowledge;It can stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve their English reading and writing ability,and provide students with more opportunities to communicate with others in English.
