Functional equivalence theory is the core Eugene Nida’s translation theory.Since the theory of functional equivalence was put forward, many scholars have done a lot of research, analysis and demonstration, but it is rarely involved in the field of ancient poetry translation.Taking 300 Tang poems translated by Mr.Yasen awazi as an example,In this paper,we examine the application of functional equivalence theory to verb translations and analyze transliteration strategies and other notes. In a simple and direct way to convey the cultural information behind the words to the readers,in order to provide some ideas for the future research of Chinese and Uyghur poetry, and point out the shortcomings of the paper and the contents that can be further discussed. This article is divided into six parts.Chapter I is an introduction. This part introduces the basis and the meaning which mainly selects the theme. The present state of research on 300 poems of Tang poetry in Japan and abroad is as well as the research methods and corpus sources. The second chapter is the theoretical part of functional equivalence theory. This paper introduces Nida’s functional equivalence theory and its contribution to translation studies. The third chapter is the characteristics of Han Wei poetry. This paper mainly introduces the feasibility of applying functional equivalence theory to poetry translation. The fourth chapter is functional equivalence and poetry. The fifth chapter is the theoretical application part. This paper analyzes the Uighur translation examples of 300 Chinese Chinese poems, and examines the application in the translation process of functional equality theory.Chapter six is the Enlightenment of translation.Through the study of the Uyghur translation of 300 Tang poems by functional equivalence theory,In this paper, the Uyghur translations of 300 poems of Chinese poetry can express the inclusion of the original poem, and most of the translations are semantically the same as the original. At the same time, the translator also pays attention to the expression form of the text,It has the same aesthetic sense as the original, and has the effect of matching the sensitivity of the reader and the original reader.
