As the Pearl on the tower of Chinese classical literature art,tang poetry has translations in English,French,Russian and other languages abroad,and translations in Mongolian and Korean in China.Translating tang poetry into Uygur and making it appreciated by readers in the Uygur language world is not only the need for cultural exchanges among peoples,better understanding and inheritance of the fine Chinese traditional culture,but also the pursuit of the translation world.Yasen awazi,the second-generation translator of Uighur literary in Xinjiang,holds the belief that " Chinese outstanding cultural relics must be shared by each ethnic group " and devoted his life to the translation of Tang poetry.His translation of Tang poetry,whether from the number of translations or the classical influence,can be said to write an indelible chapter for the dissemination of Tang poetry in the Uygur people in Xinjiang.This paper takes Yasen awazi’s Uyghur translation of Tang poetry as the research object to carry out a case study.The main content is to conduct a detailed investigation of his translation art from the perspective of translation level.This article has some value in supplementing the content of the study of the Uyghur translation of Tang poetry,combining the criticism of poetry translation with the case study,and has made some meaningful discoveries and enlightenment.In addition to the conclusions,the full text consists of three chapters.Chapter one,Introduction.The content includes the academic background and significance of the research topic,a review of the current research situation at home and abroad,the purpose of the research and the main contents of the research,the research methods,and the key elements of innovation and shortcomings.Chapter Two,Yasen awazi’s life and translation achievements.This chapter combines the translator’s life mainly collates three of his works of Uighur translation of Tang poetry.On this basis,the author analyzes the characteristics of the translator’s translation of Tang poetry from the perspective of the selection,that is,the poet and poetry,the content theme and the genre form.His translation can be regarded as the epitome of Tang poetry.The third chapter,Yasen·awazi’s translation methodology of Tang poetry.This chapter focuses on the translator’s Uyghur translation of "300 poems of the Tang Dynasty" and discusses his unique translation art characteristics based on his translation ideas and perspectives.This paper analyzes the translation skills and shortcomings of Tang poetry three aspects: the form of rhythm,phonology and genre,the content which is the imagery in Tang poetry.He reflected the difference between five words and seven words by translating the number of syllables or words in each line of poetry corresponding to the number of words in each line of the original poem.As a poet,Yasen awazi pays special attention to the rhythm and musicality of translated poems.Therefore,Use Uighur classical poetry Aruz rhythm to reflect the rhythm of Tang poetry and maximize the reproduction of the original poetry.According to the characteristics of the original poem,he mainly embodies the rhyming characteristics of the original poem by the method of translating the rhyme into the form of ghezel,and strives to synchronize with the original poem.Image is the soul of poetry,so the translator is committed to the translation of Tang poetry imagery.Looking at the translation of Tang poetry image from the translation level,Yasen awazi can ensure that the input information and output information in the translation are as equal as possible,ensures the maximum acceptance of Uyghur readers to the source culture and the original poet’s aesthetic experience.In the practice of translation,he adopted appropriate methods and tried his best to find the best balance between the dissemination of Chinese culture and the wide acceptance of the translation.In short,the translator pays attention to "meaning harmony" and seeks "form harmony" and "translating poetry into poetry."Yasen awazi is one of the outstanding representatives in the field of translation in China.His efforts in the practice of translation of Tang poetry into Uighur language are not only a great contribution to the literary translation of Xinjiang,but also to better communicate the culture and feelings of the ethnic groups and promote national unity and progress.Enhancing cultural identity,pride and responsibility are extremely valuable and important.
