Shostakovich is a well-known composer,pianist and performer in the Soviet-era,and has contributed a large number of outstanding music works to the world.He has created about 150 music pieces,including symphonies,oratorios,soundtracks for movies,instrumental music,etc.in different musical themes.The 24 Prelude and Fugue is one of the composer’s most famous piano cycle.Among them "A Prelude and Fugue”is one of the repertoires in pianists’ concerts.This paper is divided into three chapters:In the first chapter,Shostakovich was introduced,and the musical style,structure and melody of OP.987 and A Major Prelude and Fugue were analyzed based on the story behind 24 Prelude and Fugue.In the second chapter,the performance was interpreted base on my own performance in a concert from four perspectives:rhythm and beat,melody and part,Strength and touch,the use of pedals.In the third chapter,reflections and conclusions were made from the learning process and the concert practice aspect. |
