The author of "G Minor Prelude" is Sergei Vasiliyevich Rahmaninov(1873-1943),a renowned Russian pianist,composer,and conductor of the20 th century.This "G Minor Prelude" is one of the more famous of his 24 preludes.In the work,the author uses the language of their own ethnic music as the material,uses strong dance rhythms,and uses a large number of musical languages such as column and chord in the music material,making the music reflect a tragic color and an indomitable spirit of resistance.The full text is divided into three chapters: Chapter 1 analyzes the creative background and musical structure of "G Minor Prelude",while taking the era of composer Rachmaninov as the macro background,elaborating on the expressive techniques and purposes of this music sketch genre;The second chapter will study the ethnic characteristics in music through the music texture materials and rhythm in the works,and analyze the sources of ethnic characteristics in composer Rahmanilov’s music;The third chapter provides a comprehensive performance analysis of the music through the insights and experiences gained from my actual performance.There is limited research on the ethnic characteristics in Rachmaninov’s music works in China.Therefore,the author hopes to enrich the content of this section by studying the "G minor prelude",deepen the understanding of the intrinsic meaning of his music works by many music enthusiasts,and provide some reference for performers who love Rachmaninov’s music works in performance.
