In recent years,with the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength,more and more overseas students have joined the Chinese learning team,among which overseas Chinese children In this,occupy a big proportion of the overseas Chinese children.However,due to the COVID-19 pandemic,the number of overseas Chinese language teachers has been greatly reduced,making it difficult to meet the demand for Chinese language learning for Chinese children.At the same time,online Chinese teaching has emerged as a new force,becoming the best choice for more and more overseas Chinese parents because of its high speed and flexibility,as well as high cost performance.However,compared with the traditional offline classroom,online classroom also has many particularities,Performance as the interaction between teachers and students,students and students,the classroom atmosphere is bad,easy to distract the teaching objects.At the same time,the author found in the teaching practice that The Chinese children group has its own particularity,which is reflected in language acquisition,age,living environment and family background.Based on the particularity of online classroom and Chinese language teaching for Chinese Children,the author tries to improve the efficiency of Chinese language learning for Chinese children through game teaching.The specific research ideas are as follows:This paper uses literature analysis method,observation method,test method and other research methods to study how to design online Chinese teaching for Chinese children through game teaching method.First of all,the author starts from game teaching method and elaborates the theoretical basis,principles and online game design process of game teaching method.On this basis,it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of applying game teaching method in this study.Secondly,the teaching objects of this paper are Chinese American children.The students are extroverted and sociable,aged about 6-10 years old.Chinese listening and speaking ability is at an advanced level,but reading and writing ability is at a low level.In terms of learning needs,students hope to know Chinese characters and write them out.In this regard,according to the characteristics of the teaching object and the learning needs of learners,the author takes "Chinese" as the twelfth lesson in the textbook "New Year" as an example to carry on the teaching design.In addition,the age,motivation characteristics and learning style of learners are analyzed to set the teaching objectives of this course from different dimensions.On this basis,the key and difficult points of teaching and teaching content are established to make the teaching design more targeted and purposeful.Finally,based on the quantitative evaluation of students’ tests,qualitative evaluation of students’ interviews and evaluation of classroom observation,this paper reflects on the teaching design and puts forward suggestions for improvement,in order to provide reference for online game teaching design of Chinese children.
