Since the outbreak of COVID-19,the international classroom mode of Chinese teaching is not normally carried out.Most of the classroom moves from the line to the Internet,which poses a new challenge to the teaching of Chinese characters that are at the stage of exploration.Through practical teaching experience,the author finds that there are still some problems in Chinese character teaching through the platform of online education institutions.I hope that this paper summarizes the teaching methods to improve and ensure the effect of online Chinese character teaching,and makes an in-depth study on the problems existing in online Chinese character teaching,so as to provide new ideas for online teaching in the future.Through literature research,this paper combs the research overview of offline Chinese character teaching,online Chinese character teaching theory and research overview,Chinese American children’s Chinese character teaching overview and relevant research overview of online Chinese teaching platform.On the basis of previous studies,the author takes overseas Chinese children(aged 5-12)on the "Wukong Chinese" platform as the research object to study the online Chinese character teaching of Chinese children on the platform.Firstly,it introduces the basic situation of "Wukong Chinese" platform,including the general situation of "Wukong Chinese" company,online teaching platform,curriculum,online Chinese character teaching characteristics and online Chinese character teaching means for Chinese children;Secondly,on this basis,the questionnaire method is used to send questionnaires to learners through the platform,investigate and analyze the basic situation of learners,the attitude towards Chinese character learning,the evaluation of "Wukong Chinese" Chinese character teaching and the evaluation of the teaching platform,and summarize the effective Chinese character teaching methods and existing problems of the platform.Finally,through the above analysis and observation,it is concluded that there are some problems in the platform of Wukong Chinese,such as the lack of personalized features in the teaching content and teachers’ ability,the detection method of Chinese character learning effect still needs to be strengthened,and the teaching effect of mind mapping teaching method in Chinese character teaching is not ideal.Combined with the online teaching form,this paper puts forward some operable suggestions on Chinese character teaching for overseas Chinese children,and on the basis of the existing resources,improves teachers’ Chinese character teaching level,increases the test methods of online Chinese character learning effect,and further uses mind mapping teaching method to carry out Chinese character teaching. |
