The "Grading Standards for Chinese Proficiency in International Chinese Education"(hereinafter referred to as "Grading Standards")was promulgated and implemented in July 2021 in keeping with the pace of development of international Chinese education,and has become a guiding document for teaching,evaluation,learning and testing.The standard uses four basic elements of language:syllables,Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar as language quantitative indicators to measure Chinese proficiency.Under the guidance of the "Grade Standard",various teaching materials to assist Chinese learners have emerged.How similar are these teaching materials to the "Grade Standard" in terms of content,what are the differences in language quantitative indicators,and how do teachers According to the"Grade Standard",the teaching materials are fully utilized to carry out teaching,and how students can better learn Chinese under the guidance of the "Grade Standard" to prepare for the reformed Chinese proficiency test is a clear issue for teachers’teaching and students’ learning.Based on the language quantification index of "Grading Standard",this paper selects the six volumes of "Great Wall Chinese"(Survival Communication)newly published under its guidance as the comparison object,and expounds the reasons and feasibility of the selection.The words and grammar are introduced,and then the method of combining statistics,comparison,quantitative and qualitative methods is used to compare it with the "Grade Standard" from three dimensions of Chinese characters,words and grammar.In terms of Chinese characters:The Chinese characters required to be mastered in the textbooks have a low coincidence rate with the primary Chinese characters required by the "Grading Standard".Relatively speaking,among the six volumes of textbooks,the first volume of Chinese characters has a higher coincidence rate with the Chinese characters required by the "Grading Standard",followed by the third volume;in terms of vocabulary:the "Grading Standard" requires far more vocabulary.The teaching materials require vocabulary,and the coincidence rate of the two vocabulary is relatively low.Relatively speaking,among the six textbooks,the first volume of vocabulary has the highest coincidence rate with the first-level vocabulary,and the coverage rate of the other five volumes does not exceed 40%;in terms of grammar:the grammar presented in the textbook and the elementary level requirements of the "Grading Standard" The grammar has a high degree of coincidence.Relatively speaking,the grammar of Books 1 and 5 has the highest coincidence rate with the grammar required for the corresponding level,and Book 4 is the lowest.Based on the analysis results,this paper puts forward corresponding teaching strategies for international Chinese teachers who use "Great Wall Chinese"(Survival Communication),and provides reference suggestions for students to use the textbook to study and prepare for exams,as well as the Chinese characters,words and grammar of the textbook.Supplementary recommendations were made.Hope it will be helpful for him to pass the Chinese test.Finally,this paper puts forward the research problems and prospects. |
