A Study On The Phonology System Of Chinese Dialects In Yajiang And Other 4 Counties In Ganzi Prefecture,Sichuan

This paper collects information on the Chinese dialects at four locations,namely,Wado Township in Yajiang County,Taipingqiao Township in Danba County,Wulaxi Township in Jiulong County,and Shen Village in Xinglong Township in Luding County,through fieldwork conducted by the author himself at the locations of the dialects,and compiles the dialect phonology.After describing the co-temporal level phonology and showing the local Sichuan dialects,we try to discuss how the Chinese language was influenced by them to form the current linguistic landscape from the perspective of migration history and local minority languages.This is important for providing more materials for the investigation of Chinese dialects in Ganzi,understanding the characteristics of Chinese dialects in minority areas,and presenting a full picture of Sichuan dialects.This paper is divided into six main parts.The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the results of previous research,the current status of research,as well as the research method,research materials and significance of this paper.Chapter 2 describes the geography,ethnicity,transportation and population of each dialect site.Chapter 3describes the phonological system of each dialect point based on the first-hand survey corpus,and elaborates on the three aspects of vowel,rhyme,and tone respectively.Chapter 4 presents a comparative analysis of the phonological systems of each dialect point and the phonological systems of Chengdu,Pujiang,and Hanyuan.Chapter 5discusses the causes of the current situation of Chinese in minority areas in the light of the phonological systems of minority languages and migration history.Chapter 6 is the concluding remarks.
