Investigation And Study On The Dialect Phonetics System In Six Counties And Cities Including Xichang,of Liangshan Prefecture In Sichuan Province

In this paper,we made some field investigation and recorded the phonetic of six neighboring counties and cities from east to west in Liangshan.It arranged and analyzed the phonetic system of the six dialects of Liangshan with the research methods about phonology,experimental phonetic and dialectology.Systematically compare the initial,vowel,and tone of each dialects with "Guang Yun"(广韵),"Chengdu dialect""Chongzhou dialect" "Zigong dialect" and "Kunming dialect".In order to find out the clue of the phonetic characteristics and development of dialects.Through this investigation,it is found that six counties and cities including Xichang have the following phonetic features.Initial:Leibo and Jinyang have pingqiao(平翘),but Zhaojue,Xichang,Yanyuan,and Muli don’t.Leibo,Jinyang,Xichang and Yanyuan ni(泥母)and lai(来母)are mixed,Zhaojue ni(泥母)reads n-,lai(来母)is 1-.Muli would be mixed before hongyin(洪音),while there are strictly distinguished before xiyin(细音).Xiao group(晓组)is always pronounced as f-before-u rhyme(-u韵).Vowel:Jinyang-ie rhyme(-ie 韵)and-ye rhyme(-ye 韵)are pronournced as-i,-y.Some nasal rhymes have been weakened.Zhaojue’s nasal rhyme has lost.There is cuo kou sound(撮口)in Xichang,and some vowels terminal are lost;Muli,some of the words in Guo group(果摄)read as-u,some of the words in Dang and Jiang group(宕江)摄)read as-oη.Tone:The ancient rusheng(入声)in Leibo,Jinyang,Yanyuan and Muli is classified as yangping(阳平).Zhaojue only keep yinping(阴平),yangping(阳平),and shangsheng(上声).Xichang reserve rusheng(入声).This survey is different from The survey report of sichuan dialect(四川方言调查报告),Leibo lost the rusheng(入声).This paper has 5 chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter mainly introduces the previous dialect research results in Liangshan region,The general situation of the investigated place and the pronunciation information.The second chapter refers to the phonology and analyzes its phonological features of the six dialects phonetics in Liangshan.The third chapter analyzes the phonetic evolution and inductive the law of evolution of the six dialects phonetics in Liangshan.The fourth chapter is compares and analyzes the phonology of six dialect points in Liangshan with that of"Chengdu dialect" "Chongzhou dialect" "Zigong dialect" and "Kunming dialect".The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Draw the following conclusions through horizontal comparison:Chengdu has been the political,economic and cultural hub of southwest China since ancient times.In modern times,there was a large-scale population flow to Liangshan counties and cities,the strong Han culture has had a huge impact on counties and cities in Liangshan Prefecture.Leibo,Jinyang,Yanyuan and Muli are most close to "Chengdu dialect"."Muli dialect" has the bottom characteristics of "Nanlu dialect"(南路话)."Zhaojue dialect" is a pronunciation with Yi language(彝语)background and influenced by Chengdu dialect."Xichang dialect" is closely related to "Kunming dialect",it has its own unique phonetic characteristics while retaining some features of "Chengdu dialect"and "Kunming dialect".
