Multimodal teaching refers to the comprehensive use of vision,hearing,language and other channels for input teaching.The application of multiple modes in classroom teaching can improve students’ learning efficiency and optimize teachers’ classroom teaching.At the same time,with the support of modern educational technology,online Chinese teaching has become a new trend of teaching in the network era with its advantages of flexible time and easy access.Combined with multimodal discourse analysis theory,coordination between modes and multimodal selection principle,this research labels and analyzes the video data of the online course Daily Conversation without student participation and the online course Happy Chinese with student participation by ELAN6.1,counts the usage times and duration proportion of each mode of the two online courses,summarizes the types and forms of modal collocation in each teaching procedures,analyzes the effect of modal collocation and the principle of modal selection,compare the similarities and differences in the use of modality between the two courses,and summarize the teachers’ use of modality in the primary oral Chinese online course..The research has been divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter expounds the reason and significance of the topic,combs the research status of multimodal theory and multimodal teaching at home and abroad,and explains the research methods,research objects,research ideas and research tools of this research.The second chapter is the theoretical basis,including the introduction of multimodal discourse analysis,the cooperative relationship between modes and the principle of multimodal selection.The third chapter is the analysis of the mode use of the primary oral Chinese online course.This research marks the modes of primary oral Chinese online courses Daily Conversation and Happy Chinese by ELAN6.1 to count the use of modes in the two courses,summarizing the mode matching types and forms in different teaching links,analyzing the mode matching effect combined with teaching examples and the mode selection principles,and comparing the similarities and differences in the use of modes between the two courses.The fourth chapter is related suggestions on the use of teaching mode of primary oral Chinese online course.Combined with the analysis of the research,this chapter puts forward suggestions on the use of mode in online primary oral Chinese classroom teaching from two aspects of teaching procedures and mode matching effects to provide teaching reference for online Chinese teachers.Chapter five summarizes the research conclusions of the full text,discusses the limitation of the study and recommendation for the future research. |
