In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese character teaching has always been a difficult problem faced by Chinese teachers in teaching.Chinese characters are a reflection of Chinese culture and have rich cultural significance.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the author has also been troubled by the teaching of Chinese characters,especially for Chinese learners at the advanced Chinese level.In advanced Chinese,learners will encounter many Chinese characters with cultural significance,but the students’ cultural knowledge reserves the ability is not enough to understand that part of Chinese characters.This article tries to use the radical teaching theory as a guide,with advanced Chinese-level learners as the teaching object,and try to study the teaching of the word "clothing".After categorizing and sorting out the "clothing" characters in "Shuowen Jiezi","Modern Chinese Dictionary",and "Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Outline",combined with the Chinese character culture special course of the school,the teaching practice and analysis are implemented.From the radical structure of Chinese characters to help students understand and remember.In the sorted out "clothes" part,the author comprehensively considers students’ current Chinese proficiency and hobbies,selects some "clothes" part characters for teaching practice and analysis,and puts forward some teaching suggestions based on the actual situation of teaching.It is hoped that it can be used as a reference for Chinese character teaching and cultural teaching of advanced Chinese level.
