Level Up Your Digital Painting Skills: Beginner to Advanced, firstly launched on yiihuu.com and later interpreted and published on Wingfox(yiihuu.cc),is an online character concept design course lectured by Fish Man(Yu Ing),a Malaysian concept designer. This course aims to help beginners build up the following knowledge: the nature and changes of brushes, objects, and scenes with customized brushes, use fully-functional mobile 3D software to draw light and shadow on the human body and use color skillfully. This course attracted 36083 domestic learners and 609 international learners. Its content, skills, and explanation had won international popularity. This internship started on July 28th.By the time this reported was finished, the author had finished 70 hours of interpreting and 30 hours of subtitling. This thesis reported on the interpreting task with case analysis guided by the Interpretive Theory of Translation(ITT).Guided by the two-stage account of the interpreting process and three interpreting levels, the author had analyzed her interpreting and found out that word-for-word literal translation happens if either of the two stages is failed or the text level is not considered.Insufficient information processing at sentence and paragraph levels, lack of logical relation analysis, and improper language usage in reformulation were three major causes in literal translation.Drawing from her experience of this new type of language service, the author summarized the challenges she faced and propose for audiovisual interpreting(AVI).To avoid these problems, the interpreter needs to first fully comprehend the original meaning, then sort out logical relations at text level, then break away with the original form and finally restructure the message to ensure completeness, accuracy, and simplicity.
