With the sustained and rapid development of China’s economy in recent years,foreign business people’s demand for business Chinese knowledge has increased,and the importance of business Chinese teaching has become increasingly prominent.Business Chinese textbook is the basis for business Chinese teachers to carry out classroom activities and carry out teaching tests.The quality of a business Chinese textbook directly affects the quality of the whole classroom teaching activities.This paper takes the next two volumes of the New Business Chinese Intensive Reading as the object of investigation.It carries out quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis in terms of vocabulary volume,vocabulary level,new word arrangement and annotation,recurrence rate,word class,business vocabulary and vocabulary practice.It concludes as follows:(1)In terms of vocabulary,the total number of new words is relatively suitable.The difference between each class is large and not balanced;(2)In terms of vocabulary difficulty level,the New Business Chinese Intensive Reading(I)occupies a relatively high number of superclass words,which is significantly higher than the(II);(3)In terms of the presentation of new words,there is a lack of word phrases such as idioms;and in terms of interpretation,there are shortcomings in the(I)and(II),such as,some words in the(II)have semantic color and improper style interpretation;(4)In the reproduction rate,the reproduction rate in the(I)is high,and the reproduction rate in the(II)is low;(5)In terms of word distribution,it is more consistent with the general Chinese textbook,and it is mainly nouns,verbs and adjectives.In addition,there are more phrases,including idioms,and business-related phrases.The study also found that in terms of business vocabulary,the proportion of the New Business Chinese Intensive Reading(I)is more appropriate and practical than the(II).The(II)number of business vocabulary is relatively small,focusing on the popularization of Chinese business culture.For vocabulary practice settings,the New Business Chinese Intensive Reading(I)and(II)both focuses on creating communication context training.Vocabulary,compared with the(II),the(I)training is more flexible and diverse,but lacks the examination of business vocabulary;the(II)pays more attention to the expansion of new words,and pays more attention to idioms and idiom exercises than the(I).On the whole,this article hopes to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of this set of business Chinese textbooks in vocabulary compilation through analysis,and also put forward some valuable suggestions for the preparation of commercial Chinese textbooks in the future,so as to provide some reference for the improvement and development of business Chinese textbooks. |
