| The Serial Predicate Constructions(SPC)is one of the difficult spots in Chinese as well as in teaching Chinese as a second language(TCSL).For most Chinese,it plays a very important role in our daily communication.Nowadays,although the grammar research are rich,fewer are aimed at TCSL.Especially Thai students,since they don’t belong to the Chinese character culture circle,are prone to confusing SPC with other sentences structure,missing verbs,it is worth in-depth discussion.Based on comparative analysis and bias analysis theory,this thesis collected the natural corpus of SPC from the Beijing language and culture university HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus and students’ writing thesiss of "Khon Kaen University2+2" project of Southwest University,and used error analysis and statistical knowledge to process these corpus,aiming at analyzing the acquisition order and difficulties of Thai students in acquiring Chinese SPC.First of all,through the author’s teaching practice and questionnaire,this thesis understands the learning status of Thai students.Combing the predecessor’s research and the current TCSL textbooks,grammar works and syllabus(International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education,Practical modern Chinese grammar,etc.),this thesis summarizes the different classifications of SPC from the perspective of the meaning of verbs and the marked structure of SPC.Secondly,based on the theory of second language learning,this thesis first uses comparative analysis to compare the SPC in Chinese with it in Thai,which are commonly used by Thai students,and then compares the semantic focus and the semantic structure of SPC.It is found that the Thai SPC is not much different from the Chinese SPC in meaning classification,but there is a lack of marker words “着” “了” and emphasis on its use.At last,through statistical analysis,with the utilization rate,correct rate and correct relative frequency of each type of sentence pattern of students of all levels are derived.After comprehensive consideration,it is concluded that the acquisition order of semantic types of linkage sentences is:(1)>(2)>(3)>(5)>(4)>(6).According to the above research,combined with the results of the questionnaire,this thesis summarizes the reasons for negative transference of mother tongue,over generalization,the level of students’ mastery of basic knowledge,language influence and teaching material influence,and finally puts forward suggestions from the three major directions of teaching materials,classroom teaching and teachers,hoping to contribute a force to the teaching of Chinese SPC. |
