| In Chinese teaching as the second language,it has a lot of problems and errors when foreign students use serial predicate constructions. Bohai University students also have many problems in the acquisition of sentence with serial predicate constructions. Then helping the students avoid or reduce the sentence with serial predicate constructions using errors is necessary.Firstly, through the investigation on five basic types of sentence with serial predicate constructions acquisition errors on the Bohai University students who are in intermediate level of Chinese learning, the composition of students in sentence with serial predicate constructions using results could be tested and analyzed. Secondly, through the thorough searching in frequencies of foreign students’ using result of sentence with serial predicate constructions, it’s possible to summarize that the students mainly have four types of errors in learning process: the wrong order and the wrong replacements, adding extra contents to the sentences, omission of necessary contents. Finally, according to the analysis, it’s easier to get the internal and external causes of errors: the complexity of sentence with serial predicate construction; negative transfer of mother tongue knowledge; the over generalization of the target language knowledge; the influence of learning strategies and communicative startegies;causes from teachers’ aspect; causes from teaching materials’ aspect; other caused. Combined with the actual teaching situation of College of international exchange in Bohai University, the effective teaching suggestions were put forward in the end of thesis. After that, it’s important to show the teachers some teaching suggestions. It is expected to have a certain practical significance to promote the quality of teaching on sentence with serial predicate constructions in Bohai University. |
