On The Characterization And Singing Practice In The Opera Pathetique’s Dawn

Opera is a comprehensive art form integrating music,dance,drama,literature and stage art,which was born in Italy at the end of the 16 th century.After several generations of old artists in our country have been exploring hard,absorbing foreign art forms and combining with our traditional culture,we have created a Chinese opera with Chinese national characteristics.As a large-scale opera in the new era,the success of the play has also inspired the artistic creation of our national opera."Pathetic dawn" describes the tragic process of a group of hot-blooded young people fighting in the war for the founding of new China in a public school in Northeast China.The revolutionary ancestors in the opera made great achievements and sacrificed the spirit of ego,which made me feel a lot and benefited a lot.So I chose to sing the excerpt "my dear mother" from the opera in the mid-term master’s concert,There are still many shortcomings.Therefore,I chose this work as the research object of my graduation thesis.In order to better understand the connotation of this work and the characters in the play,I analyzed the music noumenon of my dear mother,combined theory with practice,and further analyzed its singing skills and character connotation,so as to comprehensively improve my stage performance and character shaping ability,To solve their own shortcomings in the interpretation of this work,lay a certain foundation for the future art of vocal singing,and share their experience with more singers,so as to better carry forward the Chinese national opera and enhance cultural confidence.
