Belonging to the same Chinese culture circle,China and Japan have constantly exchanged with and exerted influence on each other,thus forming a large number of Chinese and Japanese homographs in modern Chinese and modern Japanese.The majority of the existing researches focus on the whole or single groups of homographs,and most of them are classification researches in terms of word meaning.The author explored a new method by studying the homographs from the perspective of certain word classes,mainly focusing on the research on homographs of adverbs at the CET-4 level in the Syllabus of the New Chinese Proficiency Test.Initially,in the introduction of this paper,based on the definition and classification of Chinese and Japanese homographs proposed by predecessors,this paper gave a clear definition of this homograph and discussed amply its classification.On this basis,this paper mainly discussed this topic from three aspects:In the first part,the author made a comparative analysis of the disyllables of adverbs at the CET-4 level in the Syllabus of the New Chinese Proficiency Test.The comparison was mainly made from two perspectives.First,from the perspective of character pattern,the selected 37 groups of Chinese and Japanese homographs of adverbs were divided into three categories: homographs with the complete same character pattern,homographs corresponding in complex and simplified style,and homographs with slight differences in character pattern but considered as consistent in vision.Second,from the perspective of word class,two main categories were separated:homographs which can be used as adverbs in both modern Chinese and modern Japanese and homographs which can exclusively be used as adverbs in modern Chinese.On this basis,the homographs which can be used as adverbs in both modern Chinese and modern Japanese were divided into two sub-categories: homographs which can only be used as adverbs and homographs which can be used as other word classes besides adverbs;the homographs which can only be used as adverbs in modern Chinese were also divided into two sub-categories: homographs with common word classes and homographs without common word classes.The paper also analyzed the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese homographs from the perspectives of conceptual meaning and emotional meaning,and analyzed the similarities and differences of modified objects from the perspective of pragmatics.In the second part,based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus,the author found out the errors created by Japanese Chinese learners in the process of using such homographs,and further summarized the types and analyzed the causes of these errors.In the final part,according to the comparative analysis and error analysis of Chinese and Japanese homographs from different angles,this paper put forward some teaching,learning and editing suggestions for Japanese and Chinese educators,Japanese Chinese learners,and the compilation of textbooks for teaching Japanese students Chinese respectively. |
