| In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of word order has always been an important and difficult point.It is an important obstacle for foreign students to learn Chinese.In recent years,academic research on word order has achieved fruitful results,and the teaching of word order has been supported by some teaching theories and has made great progress.However,in the current practice,there are still many problems with the teaching of word order,which often results in confusion and wrong order.Therefore it is necessary to find appropriate methods for foreign students to learn to use some complex sentence structures correctly and really master the correct rules of word order.Because of its advantages in solving some problems in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the valence theory has been attracting more and more attention from researchers and front-line teachers of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in recent years.This thesis studies the application of valence theory to teaching Chinese as a foreign language on the basis of combing and analyzing the use of teaching materials,curriculum,teachers and students,and the current situation of teaching at Abbottabad Frontier Education Foundation Chinese Language Center in Pakistan.The study is divided into the following parts: First,based on the teaching practice of HSK Level 3course,examining the questions of "Conjugation into Sentences" in the exercises of HSK Level 3 course,and exploring the distribution of Chinese word order in the syntactic system and sentence system.Second,taking the students of Abbottabad Frontier Education Foundation Chinese Language Center as the target,collecting the sentences completed by students in their homework,exercises and tests to analyze their acquisition of Chinese word order.Third,analyzing the feasibility of applying the valence theory to teaching Chinese word order as a foreign language,and on the basis of this,designing the word order teaching of "ba" sentences as an example.Finally,proposing some suggestions from different perspectives,hoping to contribute to the improvement of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
