A Report On The Translation Of “ A Survey On Electric Vehicle Transportation Within Smart Grid System ”

Under the guidance of skopos theory,cohesion and coherence theory,the translator has translated the essay “ A Survey on Electric Vehicle Transportation Within Smart Grid System ”,selected from the journal Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews.This translation report is composed of four chapters.Chapter One focuses on the description of the translation task,which mainly introduces the source and the features of the source text,and the objectives and significance of the task.Chapter Two describes the translation process,including preparations before translation,difficulties in translation and the solutions and quality control.Chapter Three is a case analysis,which mainly analyzes some typical translation cases and illustrates some translation strategies at lexical,syntactic and textual level.The last part conducts a summary,which draws a conclusion of the translation experiences,presents reflections on the translation and limitations.The project aims to provide some reference for domestic professionals and electric vehicle transportation industry by introducing the advanced technologies in the source text,and to give some inspirations to other translators in terms of translation methods.
