Investigation And Research On Water Conservancy Inscriptions In Wuwei Area During Ming And Qing Dynasties

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Wuwei Water Conservancy Inscriptions are rich in content and numerous.This article summarizes the water conservancy inscriptions in the Wuwei area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties through statistics,classification,and sorting of relevant information on the water conservancy inscriptions in the Wuwei area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as comprehensive field investigations,combined with a large number of inscription photos taken.The content of this article mainly includes the following three aspects: First,by consulting relevant documents and materials,a brief introduction to the construction history and water conservancy development in Wuwei during the Ming and Qing Dynasties is provided to pave the way for the full text.And based on the field survey,combined with the literature data,the water conservancy inscriptions in Wuwei area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties were statistically sorted out.A total of 27 water conservancy inscriptions in Wuwei during the Ming and Qing Dynasties were discovered,of which 3 inscriptions in the Ming Dynasty,24 in the Qing Dynasty and11 inscriptions have survived to this day.According to a field survey of the existing11 inscriptions,it was found that neither the inscriptions themselves nor the environmental protection and protection measures of the inscriptions have been scientifically and properly protected.Secondly,the contents of the inscriptions are sorted and summarized,and the inscriptions investigated are divided into three categories: water conservancy disputes,water conservancy laws and regulations,and water conservancy construction.These inscriptions are indispensable materials for the study of water conservancy history,and have important historical and social value.The unique role of water conservancy inscriptions continues to this day,and its value and significance are irreplaceable.Finally,starting from the preservation status of Wuwei water conservancy inscriptions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the protection of Wuwei water conservancy inscriptions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties mainly has three problems: poor preservation environment,lack of protection measures,and serious damage to the inscriptions themselves.It is suggested that the protection and attention should be paid to the existing Wuwei water conservancy inscriptions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties from three aspects:improving the preservation environment of the inscriptions,scientifically restoring the inscriptions and keeping the inscription data in time.
