On The Evolution Of Lin Jinlan’s Novel Creation

Lin Jinlan is one of the most important writers in Contemporary Chinese literature.He is also a writer who spans the three creative stages of the seventeen years,the new period and the new century.His novels are recognized by countless later writers and researchers for their exquisite and short writing characteristics.However,compared with the old writers of the same era,Lin Jinlan’s works are relatively less concerned.In the process of winning the Beijing writer Lifetime Achievement Award in2007,he also experienced some hardships.In the late 1980 s,Lin Jinlan’s "the style of low stool bridge" was based on the development of his hometown Wenzhou in the context of reform and opening up.With the artistic form of "new note style" novel,many researchers felt "strange taste" and at the same time had to be impressed by the writer’s leisurely and unique artistic charm.This paper studies Lin Jinlan’s novel creation,combs and analyzes Lin Jinlan’s creative psychology,theme,character image and artistic characteristics at different stages,and explores the evolution of his novel creation.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly combs Lin Jinlan’s creation process,divides his creation into four stages according to the writer’s life experience and work style,and discusses the writer’s creation psychology in different periods.The second chapter studies the theme change of Lin Jinlan’s works.Performance politics in the 1950s;After returning to the literary world in the new period,he inquired about the history;From the end of the 1980 s to the middle of the 1990 s,we should observe human nature;From the end of 1990 s to the new century,the writer’s perception of life reveals the change of his creation from realistic theme to abstract theme.The third chapter studies the evolution of the characters in Lin Jinlan’s works.Based on the general summary of the characters in the writer’s works,this paper divides them into four types: new farmers,intellectuals,Wenzhou people and old artists,and reveals the stage characteristics of the characters in the writer’s creation.The fourth chapter studies the artistic evolution of Lin Jinlan’s novels.From the four aspects of language innovation,stylistic exploration,aesthetic experience and creative methods of Lin Jinlan’s novels,this paper presents the artistic evolution of Lin Jinlan’s novels.
