| Lin Jinlan is one of the most important writers in the contemporary Chinese literary world,as well as an old writer spanning ‘the seventeen years’,the new period and the new century.Compared with the novel creation of ‘the Seventeen years’ period,Lin’s novel creation in the new period is more representative of his achievements,and the texts related to trauma writing are mainly his novels published in the new period.In his works,he describes the depth of the mental trauma caused by various traumatic events to individuals,and constructs the writing style of trauma different from the novels of the new period,which changes from narrative trauma to narrative trauma,as a kind of witness,comfort and reflection,it tries to provide a kind of treatment plan in literature writing.Lin Jinlan’s novel creation in the new period often focuses on the‘Trauma’,whether it is the speech of history,the deep excavation of complex human nature,or the intervention of social reality,all run through the author of the ‘Trauma’ theme repeated.At the same time,in order to express and present the indescribable traumatic memory and experience,he also carried on various unique artistic forms of exploration.Lin Jinlan’s writing of trauma contains abundant thoughts on life,and plays an indispensable role in analyzing the individual emotional world and displaying the macroscopic picture of social history,it is an important cut-in point to explore the connotation and artistic features of the whole creation.From the perspective of ‘Trauma’,this paper will deeply explore the presentation of trauma theme,the use of artistic techniques and the uniqueness of trauma writing in Lin Jinlan’s novels,and explore the practical significance of trauma writing in the author’s works.The full text is divided into four parts: the first chapter analyzes the heavy and true‘Trauma’ in Lin’s novels from the perspectives of political trauma,human trauma and ethical trauma,through the close reading of the novel,the author discusses the trauma of the victim’s body and mind,family relationship and social identity,and observes the distortion and alienation of human nature in the turbulent times.The second chapter examines the relationship between the victim and the other in the trauma story from the perspective of the individual victim,this paper probes into Lin Jinlan’s breakthrough in the established writing mode of trauma from three aspects: the victim and the victim,the victim and the abuser,the victim and the bystander,and pays attention to the uniqueness of the individual’s mental state.The third chapter discusses how Lin Jinlan characterizes the chaotic and broken traumatic memory,and externalizes it into the construction of the narrative space-time of the novel,the non-linear time of fracture,distortion and deformation highlights the delay and inexpressibility of trauma,and the multi-dimensional narrative space expands the traumatic experience and becomes an important field to reproduce the traumatic experience,together,they fill in the gap between the expression of language and the representation of trauma,and construct the text space full of emotional tension.The fourth chapter explains the formalization,imagery and symbolization of trauma writing in Lin Jinlan’s works,which is different from the thematic trauma writing in scar literature and reflective literature,on the one hand,Lin Jinlan describes trauma in terms of‘Hysteria’symptoms,such as ghost hallucination,Dream Flashback,madness metaphor,physical pain,etc.On the other hand,Lin Jinlan uses various unique trauma images,such as natural images,animal images and color images,to increase the historical sense and allegory of trauma writing. |
