Lin Jinlan's Novels From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

Lin Jinlan is a writer with a strong sense of style.Since the 1980 s,there have been many researchers who interpret Lin Jinlan's novels from the perspective of style.However,Lin reeks with the cultural atmosphere of Wenzhou and the characteristics of Wenzhou presented in the novels of Lin Jinlan are not clearly explained by the theory of stylistic study.This paper attempts to interpret Lin Jinlan's novels from the perspective of regional culture,and believes that Lin has incorporated a large number of Wenzhou regional cultural elements in his novels.It is the influence of Wenzhou culture that has created the uniqueness of Lin's novels.This thesis takes Lin's novels as the research object,and intends to adopt the methods of close reading and induction to analyze the influence of Wenzhou culture on Lin,and to sort out the contents related to Wenzhou culture in Lin's novels.The paper is divided into four parts.The introduction describes some writers and their novel creation,and summarizes the research status of Lin Jinlan's novels.The first chapter discusses the influence of Wenzhou culture on the temperament of Lin's personality,and how this influence is reflected in his novel.The second chapter analyzes the writing of Wenzhou culture in Lin Jinlan's novels,which is mainly embodied in Wenzhou people,Wenzhou city,Wenzhou taste and so on.The third chapter discusses the value of Lin's regional cultural novels which aims on the one hand to realize the writer's spiritual return,on the other hand to influence the contemporary "literature" of Wenzhou's writing.The conclusion shows that although Lin is far from homeland,Wenzhou culture has always been submerged in his innermost depths.The interpretation of Lin Jinlan's novels must face up to the influence of Wenzhou culture on his creation.
